Finding the best travel deals

Now that I’m in the phase of planning my first overseas solo trip, I’ve been searching the internet for all sorts of information. The first thing that came to my mind was finding good deals on travel such as flights and hotels. With so much information being floated around, it can be overwhelming. Luckily, I found a way to stay up to date with the best deals.

There are many resources for finding good deals. The problem is that they are for a limited time. Sometimes for a week or a few short months. This leaves you feeling that if you don’t act now, you’re dream trip will have to wait. You don’t have to wait to plan your next adventure, it’s all about perfect timing.

Hotels, flights, cars and packages

When it comes to deals, I always check out a few reliable sources. When it comes to hotels, the first place I head to is Hotels.com. They have an excellent deal finder widget with defined searches. The deal finder takes information such as destinations, hotels, landmarks and address to filter through deals faster. With daily and weekly deals, it’s alot easier to find something that will fit within your budget.

Expedia.com is the leader in individual and bundle travel packages. Expedia has gone the extra mile to fit the needs of every kind of traveler. You can easily find deals on flights, hotels, vacation rentals, cars and cruises. Their bundle deals offer a variety of packages such as flights, hotels, cars and three in one deals. You can also search for things to do by destinations with some great suggestions.

Kiwi.com is another options for finding deals on flights. You can find and book the cheapest flights possible. This includes a variety of low-cost flights and traditional airliners with an interactive map.

Homestay.com is another great alternative accommodations finder. Homestay connects you with over 50,000 registered local hosts in over 150 countries.  Guests get to stay with locals in their homes and experience their local cultures and explore each destinations the way they do. It’s a great way to immerse yourself into a new culture.

Cruises… travelling the world by sea

Who wouldn’t want to explore the world the way our nomadic ancestors did (ok so it’s a little different than they did). Expedia isn’t the only place where you can find deals on cruise. Royal Caribbean offers regular weekly deals on holidays and cruises with special offers. You can discover cruises by destinations and the best deals offered.

Looking for more options from different cruise liners? Cruise Direct can help you find the right one. Cruise direct finds weekly deals from cruise liners around the world. Based on your destination, how long you plan to stay and the time you plan on going, you can find amazing deals. You can match prices from different cruisers including your favourite cruise and choose the one that best fits your budgets or has a better deal. You can also search for last minute cruise deals to save even money.

Travelling on a budget

There are many more options for finding the right deals. These are just some of my go-to resources. Travelling doesn’t have to be expensive. It doesn’t have to delay for years and years. It just requires you to do a little bit of researching. Yes it may take you sometime to look over your finances and working out a budget. But with all the information available, you’re sure to find the right one for you.
